Health is all about balance and doing things in moderation.  It is not about what you are eating and drinking one day of the week that is important, it is what you are eating and drinking the other 6 days a week.  In my blog posts, newsletters, videos, company literature, and other communication with people seeking health care advice.  I do my very best to focus on the basics.  Sometimes I am a bit long winded – I admit.  And, at other times it takes me a while to get to the point.  Here I will do my best to stay focused.  There are 4 basic things that affect 99% of my patients more than any other of those things.

Those 4 things are the following:

1. Blood Sugar:

2. Water Metabolism

3. Digestion

4. Protein Utilization

While it is true that these 4 things effect my patients more than anything else, the main underlying cause of these 4 aspects of health being imbalanced is due to a diet which is high in sugar, complex carbohydrates, or foods that are broken down into sugar.  For example, most people do not think of brussel sprouts or artichoke hearts as being high in sugar but they are both mostly starch and so they raise blood sugar quickly after consumption.  This is also true of winter squash and spaghetti squash and carrots.

I will now proceed to list for you below 75 astonishing facts about sugar.
