Have you ever set goals before?  Well, I have.  They are a CRUCIAL part of health and healing.  Most people who get started with a healing program fail to even visualize in their mind what will be involved with the process of healing and accomplishing their health goals.  Whatever goal you may be setting, I have a GREAT recommendation of one or two things you can do to help you with the process.  The methods I will now share with you are TRIED AND TRUE and have been used by some of the most successful people on the planet.  And, what is even more important, is that they are very simple and easy to implement into your daily life.  Because the purpose of this website and blog is to focus only on health related things, the goals and goal setting that I will go over here will only be a partial action plan.  For a more complete system for setting and achieving your goals you could schedule a few visits in the office (not just one) on find a personal coach or consultant of your liking to help or even purchase a few books about the subject.

Here are some simple things you can do to improve your goal setting and achieving potential and REALIZATION.

  1. If you make a PROMISE to yourself that you will achieve your goal then you will be able to achieve it.
  2. The goal must be S.M.A.R.T  ==  Specific / Measurable / Attainable / Realistic / Time related  (Realistic means different things for different people just as does Attainable.  For example, if you currently make $1000 per month or less a bad goal would be to strive to make $10,000 per month within 2 months.)
  3. Goals should be written – preferably hand written on index cards and then read every day for 30 days in a row

One of the best books that I know of for spiritual types of Affirmations is The book called You can Heal Your Life by Louise Hayes.  If you do not already have this book then I would suggest you pick up the audio or paperback at a bookstore or on Amazon.  Another great book for having a successful morning that includes affirmations is “The Miracle Morning” by Hal Elrod and Cameron Herold with Honoree Corder.  Now, there are two affirmations that I have for you here that you can add to whatever other affirmations you may now be doing.  I hope that you like them.

  1. I am in the midst of a war, a battle between the limits of a crowd seeking the surrender of my dreams, and the power of my true vision to create and contribute.  It is a fight between those who will tell me what I cannot do, and that part of me that knows, and has always known, that we are more than our environment, and that a dream, backed by an unrelenting will to attain it, is truly a reality with an imminent arrival.
  2. The definition of REALIZATION: The ability to comprehend the absolute necessity to take relentless and massive action to capitalize on a rare opportunity that will only present itself temporarily before it is passed on to a more deserving soul who takes the necessary action required.
  3. We must REALIZE our goals.  The services that we offer in our office is that rare opportunity that is being mentioned here above.
